Chicken Curry For Dosa, Vada

 Nellore famous food


Chicken 1/2 kg
Onions- 1/2
Ginger garlic paste-1 tbsp
Coriander powder- 1 tbsp
Coconut-2 tbsp
Chilli  powder- 1tbsp
Tumeric-1/2 tbsp
Salt to taste
Coriander leaves
Chicken masala -1 tbsp


Grind coriander powder,coconut to smooth paste.
Wash the chicken well and cut into small pieces.

Heat oil in kadai. add onions saute till they turn transparent.

Add in ginger garlic paste and saute it for a min.
Add chicken pieces and saute it for 2 mins
Add salt,chilli powder and paste(coriander,coconut  paste)
Add one cup water.Add chicken masala powder,coriander leaves and saute it for 5 min. 

Garnish with cilantro. Serve warm with idlies, dosas, Vada or chapatis.

  1. Keep an eye on it when you take the lid off or it will certainly thicken too much. Was ok, but can't say I'll be making Dhaniya chicken.
